Jana Echols owns and operates Lazy E Crescent horse training/riding instruction. With over ten years experience in the industry, Jana prides herself on teaching correct communication between horse and rider.   Jana trains horses and riders for a variety of events, both English and Western. She specializes in colt starting, problem horse rehab, hunter jumpers, and barrel racing / gymkana events. Jana accepts all breeds for training and all levels of riders. Jana attends numerous A and AA, category II, and local hunter jumper shows throughout the year as well as several barrel races a month. Lesson horses are available. Lisa Brunner has owned and operated On A Whim Farm from 1997 to present.Two years ago she moved  On A Whim Farm over to River Valley Ranch, recognizing the value of having a cross country schooling course on the property.As an event rider with 30+ years in the industry,  she teaches dressage, show jumping and cross country. Lisa has competed through the Preliminary level and taken clinics, with Buddy Brown, David O’Conner, Ann Kursinsky, Gwen Stockelbran, and Kathleen Zins believing that riding is a continuing education sport for trainers as well as students. Her emphasis is on teaching her students and their horses the basic skills of riding including proper balance, straightness and forward movement. Lisa teaches her students to build on the basics of riding which allows them to move up the levels.She also stresses the importance of proper communication between horse and rider. Her students are always in the ribbons and have won several area X year end awards such as Beginner Novice, Novice and Training horse of the year! Stacey Kollman is a horse and rider biomechanics coach and horse rehabilitator whose life’s work centers on helping horses live healthy and happy lives. She accomplishes this through innovative education programs, challenging horse owners to discover new levels of awareness, connection and responsibility. In settings from ranch work to the show ring she has ridden and competed in disciplines from western pleasure to dressage, gymkhana and jumping. She is a Connected Riding practitioner, with more than 15 years of study, practice and adaptation of mounted and ground exercises that develop connection from the inside, by feeling, to the outside. Certified in equine sports massage therapy, Stacey also has studied acupressure, therapeutic aromatherapy, medicinal herbs, homeopathic and vibrational remedies and various forms of energy healing. She is certified in acutherapy and is a Usui reiki master. She believes that horses and the instructors who teach people to work with them are among the world’s unsung therapists, so she also holds credentials in Equine Experiential Learning and develops programs that encompass personal growth, leadership development and team building. Her specialties include exploring the body/mind connection to deepen understanding and relationships, teaching the subtle energy of non-verbal communication.
